tuckahub is an online ordering platform operated from Western Australia by [TO BE CONFIRMED: legal entity name, ABN]. By placing an order, or by running a storefront on tuckahub, you agree to these terms.
What tuckahub is
tuckahub connects customers with independent food trucks. Each truck is its own business: it prepares your food, sets its prices and menu, and is responsible for food safety and for meeting its own legal obligations. When you order, your purchase contract is with the truck; tuckahub provides the ordering, payment and notification plumbing.
Ordering and payment
- Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.
- An order is confirmed when the truck accepts it. A truck may decline an order (for example, if it has run out of an item); a declined order is not charged, or is refunded in full.
Cancellations and refunds
Food is prepared to order, so an accepted order generally cannot be cancelled once the truck has started preparing it. If something is wrong with your order — a missing item, a wrong item, food you reasonably could not eat — talk to the truck first; they can resolve most problems on the spot. [TO BE CONFIRMED: refund policy — who decides refunds (truck vs platform), the window for claims, and how disputed charges are handled]. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your account and conduct
- Keep your account credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate contact details — the truck needs them to hand you your food.
- Do not misuse the platform: no fraudulent orders, no scraping, no interfering with the service.
For truck owners
Truck owners are responsible for the accuracy of their menu, pricing and allergen information, for holding the licences their business requires, and for the food they serve. Payouts are handled through Stripe under a separate connected-account agreement. Platform fees, where applicable, are disclosed before you connect your account.
Availability and liability
We work to keep tuckahub available but do not promise uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, tuckahub's liability for problems with the platform is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees paid to us for it; we are not liable for the acts or food of the trucks, who remain responsible for their own businesses. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using tuckahub, and truck owners can close their storefront, at any time.
